You can wear a suit, tie and shoes but there is something about putting that Fedora hat on your head that really completes the whole picture. Originally the Fedora hat was known as a Trilby in England. Being a wool felt brim dress hat. What makes a Fedora hat it's namesake is the style of the pinched crown compared to a Godfather hat. You will usually find the crown pinched in the front and can come with either a smooth crease on the top of the crown or the so-called teardrop crease. Either way, once you start wearing fedora hats, you will wonder how you ever went out without on your head.
